I encourage you all to think of a new post you want to create for this new exchange. Let us agree, you brainstorm the ideas and let me know here or in e-mail, which topic you are working on and who is creating in groups or individually.
Time frame - week 16-20 March- to give the name of your research interest and the post you want to create and with whom. week 23- 27 - proofreading and consultations by April 1 - uploading new posts.
By that time you will see the term papers, created by Orebro students. Also - I encourage you to leave your comments and answers to both Orebro and Stanford. And recommendations - you choose one or two posts from Stanford or Orebro that you like most and try to llink your posts to those you like most, so that when we go to videoconferencing - you would know whom you are going to discuss the issues with. I like all 3 topics! Look forward to reading them. Cinematography group, please see the post created earlier by students from the Academyof Economics and Law, which was also about cinematopgraphy. Would be good if you choose some Russian and/or American movies to discuss from a certain point ofview , for example, the way they depict historic events or relationship between people, etc.., so that there are specific examples for interpretation. Feel free to send your posts to me for proofreading, OV
Cinematography. Only one word… But how many interesting things are connected with it! The birth and the history of cinematography, its trends and genres. It is like the whole world! It reflects different perception of one and the same world by different people. During its history it faced many problems and nowadays is also not the best time. But the art will always survive! During our communication with students from Stanford and Orebro we would like to learn what cinema means for them, what are their preferences, what problems cinematography faces in their countries, how they see the future of cinematography and many more other questions. The theme is really vital and we are sure that it won’t be difficult for us to find common language, because even if we are from different countries, common interests unite us.
Names! Names are what everyone has. Name is one of the most important word in the life of a human. What names exist in Russia? What do they mean? What is special about our names? These and many more questions we are gonna answer in our post! Want to learn the truth? Read our post!
